How does it provide added privacy?

As soon as you connect to our VPN server your computer is assigned a new IP address, an IP address that is owned by us, not your ISP. Unless you are using one of our static IP packages there are no records that link a single user to the IP address. The IP address is shared by many users. Remote servers on the Internet that try to identify you by your IP address will fail.

Why do I need this protection?

There have been thousands of cases of abuse of the legal system. There are powerful groups that wish to deny your rights of privacy. They have successfully manipulated the legal systems around the world to protect their own interests. Our purpose is not to protect criminals, but it is to protect the innocent against those who abuse the legal systems for their own interests. The Electronic Frontier Foundation has documented a few cases of abusive DMCA subpoenas. The DiaRIAA website is also a good portal for even more examples. If you search you will find thousands of cases where innocent people like you have had their life nearly destroyed in the name of greed.

How do I get a premium SecureIX account?

After you have created a free account you can upgrade it to a premium account by using the upgrade form.

What is the difference between the Premium and Free accounts?

Free users have a bandwidth limit set to 256kbits/second. Premium accounts have a 5000kbits/second (5mbit) limit. Premium accounts get access to special vpn servers. The premium server are never full or overloaded.
